DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us for the final installment of the FDS Women’s
  Career Development Colloquium Series\, supported by the Department of Sta
 tistics and Data Science (S&amp\;DS) and the Yale Institute for Foundation
 s of Data Science (FDS). This series features inspiring talks from female 
 Yale alumni and leading professionals in statistics and related fields who
  will share their career journeys and valuable insights. We encourage acti
 ve participation—ask questions\, engage in discussions\, and take full a
 dvantage of this enriching opportunity. The series is dedicated to support
 ing women in statistics and related fields at Yale\, providing a platform 
 where female professionals can share their experiences\, discuss challenge
 s\, and offer guidance to our students.\n\n\n\nSpeaker bio: Madalina Pers
 u is a Quantitative Researcher\, VP at Two Sigma since 2018\, where she fo
 cuses on leveraging AI to develop predictive mid-frequency signals for equ
 ities. Prior to joining Two Sigma\, Madalina earned her PhD in Computer Sc
 ience from MIT in 2018\, under the supervision of Prof. Ankur Moitra. She 
 also holds a MEng in Computer Science from MIT (2015) and a BA in Mathemat
