This series will feature inspiring talks from female Yale alumni and leading professionals in statistics and related fields who will share their career journeys and valuable insights. We encourage active participation—ask questions, engage in discussions, and take full advantage of this enriching opportunity. The series is dedicated to supporting women in statistics and related fields at Yale, providing a platform where female professionals can share their experiences, discuss challenges, and offer guidance to our students.
Speaker bio: Lead Data Scientist at the Chief Data Office at AT&T since 2021, where she currently develops GenAI solutions for business applications. She has expertise in Machine Learning, AI, Big Data and Data Management. Prior to joining AT&T she received her PhD in Statistics and Data Science from Yale University in 2020, followed by her role as a Lecturer at the same department. Elena serves on the Conference of Statistical Practice Steering Committee.
