DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us for the FDS Women’s Career Development Collo
 quium Series\, proudly supported by the&nbsp\;Department of Statistics and
  Data Science (S&amp\;DS)&nbsp\;and the&nbsp\;Yale Institute for Foundatio
 ns of Data Science (FDS). This series will feature inspiring talks from fe
 male Yale alumni and leading professionals in statistics and related field
 s who will share their career journeys and valuable insights. We encourage
  active participation—ask questions\, engage in discussions\, and take f
 ull advantage of this enriching opportunity. The series is dedicated to su
 pporting women in statistics and related fields at Yale\, providing a plat
 form where female professionals can share their experiences\, discuss chal
 lenges\, and offer guidance to our students.\n\n\n\nSpeaker Bio: Tal Sarig
  is a Research Scientist at the Central Applied Science team at Meta\, whe
 re she focuses on applied machine learning\, delayed labels\, and concept 
 drift. Her work also includes research and software&nbsp\;developments in 
 Survey Statistics and Survey Weighting. Prior to joining Meta\, Tal earned
  her PhD in Statistics and Data Science from Yale University in 2020\, und
 er the supervision of Prof. Harry Zhou. She also holds an MSc in Statistic
 s and a BSc in Mathematics and Psychology\, both from Tel Aviv University.
