This series will feature inspiring talks from female Yale alumni and leading professionals in statistics and related fields who will share their career journeys and valuable insights. The series is dedicated to supporting women in statistics and related fields at Yale, providing a platform where female professionals can share their experiences, discuss challenges, and offer guidance to our students.
Bio: Susan Wang ’14 is currently a Staff Data Scientist, and has worked at Google (Youtube) since 2019. In her current role, she works on experiments, survey design/inference, and forecasting. Prior to 2019, she worked as a Lecturer at Yale and Amherst College, specializing in teaching intro and applied statistics courses. Susan’s dissertation work was in Bayesian statistics.
