The National Academy of Sciences has announced Nicholas A. Christakis, MD, PhD, MPH will be elected as a member of their organization this year. Christakis is the Yale University Sterling Professor of Social and Natural Science, Co-Director at the Yale Institute for Network Science, and member of the Institute for Foundations of Data Science. NAS members are selected by peers for making great contributions to research that “further[s] science in America.”
