Ethan Dintzner
Ethan is a third-year PhD student in biological sciences. He studied mathematics and biology at the University of Chicago, and currently works in the Emonet Laboratory to investigate how Vibrio cholerae make sensory computations during navigation. From measuring signals in live cells to identifying latent factors in molecular dynamics simulations, Ethan loves applying data science to understand complex biological systems. As an NSF GRFP recipient, Ethan enjoys engaging in outreach efforts to spread interest and engagement with quantitative sciences. After Yale, he aspires to study computational systems biology or drug discovery in an industry setting.
What do you do with Data Science?
I am thrilled that the DSFP brings together such a diverse community of quantitatively minded students, and am excited for our shared growth and experiences as practitioners of data science.
