Lillian Rountree

Lillian Rountree is a PhD student in the Department of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Public Health. She has a masters in biostatistics from the University of Michigan and a bachelors of arts in statistics and French from Columbia University. Her research interests include developing causal methods for infectious disease modeling and operationalizing data equity. In her life outside of research and academia, she is a fiction writer.
What do you do with Data Science?
I am most excited to meet my fellow Fellows from across Yale and formally explore how data science intersects and unites our disciplines—I am sure that I will be surprised, and hopefully inspired, by some of the connections I find!
