Sida “Stark” Huang is a PhD student in Chronic Disease Epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health. He earned his MPH from Yale and his BS in Health Care Policy from Cornell University. His research focuses on cancer outcomes, real-world data, health services research, predictive modeling, and health economics. At Yale, he works with the COPPER Center on studies using large observational datasets to evaluate cancer screening, genomic testing, treatment patterns, and outcomes. He is especially interested in using data science methods to generate evidence that can improve cancer care delivery and inform clinical and policy decisions.

What do you do with Data Science?

I am excited to join the Yale Data Science Fellows Program because it creates a space to learn from researchers across disciplines. I look forward to contributing to a community focused on rigorous, impactful, and collaborative research.
