Tobias Muellers
Tobias is a green chemist with expertise in safer chemical design and cheminformatics. Trained in chemistry, toxicology, and environmental science, he has produced, predicted, and managed data on chemical hazards for small businesses, the chemical industry, and government agencies. His current research explores the design of high-performing, safer, and more sustainable molecules through a systems lens, asking: “What information can we use to predict and understand chemical behavior?” Tobias leverages both data science and chemical intuition to answer this question. Currently a Yale Planetary Solutions Fellow, he is particularly interested in interdisciplinary collaboration to learn about and develop better questions to ask of data, enabling system-based environmental solutions.
