William is a computer science Ph.D. student co-advised by Katerina Sotiraki and Hyunghoon Cho. He is broadly interested in theoretical cryptography, cryptographic applications for privacy preserving bioinformatics, and ways to practically accelerate those applications on such data. He currently works on developing cryptographic tools to securely train statistical models on sensitive biomedical data.

I’m very excited to participate in the Data Science Fellows Program’s events and engage with the broader data science community at Yale.
